This seminar has been presented since 1992 in various churches and to people across the denominational spectrum.. Getting married is probably one of the most significant things you will do in your life. However, while years of study are spent educating ourselves for a career, little or no time is invested in equipping ourselves for marriage and raising a family. We start off very much “in love” but need to be prepared for the stress and challenges life may bring against our marriage.
Through this course …
• Couples seriously considering engagement will gain valuable insight to help them make this life changing decision.
• Engaged couples will receive biblical insight into the covenant of marriage and relevant, practical information to help them build a strong, fulfilled marriage. Topics covered in the seminar include:
• God’s heart for marriage
• Building a home
• Covenant – Can we stay in love forever?
• What are our responsibilities as a husband or a wife
• God’s order and government in the family
• Prayer in marriage
• Financial planning
• Love, Communication, Conflict resolution
• Sexual intimacy in marriage
PRESENTATION: The course is presented over four evening sessions and one Saturday morning session.
